🧩 Testing & Psychological Measurement
Understanding You, Together
Good care starts with a clear picture. In our clinical health psychology practice, we use reliable, evidence-based psychological tests and assessments to understand where you are now — and how best to help you move forward.
These tools are not about putting you in a box; they’re about shining a light on what’s working, what’s challenging, and what you need right now.
What we Use
🧠 Attention & Executive Function:
For clients who struggle with focus, impulsivity, or attention-related difficulties — whether related to health conditions, treatment side effects, or daily stress — we offer the MOXO Continuous Performance Test (MOXO-CPT).
This digital test provides clear, objective information about attention, timing, impulsivity, and hyperactivity — helping us understand what’s behind concentration problems and how to address them.
🎗️ Coping with Cancer:
We use the Cancer Coping Questionnaire (CCQ) to help clients explore how they’re coping with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. This evidence-based tool looks at problem-solving, positive focus, and emotional adjustment — guiding us in planning meaningful, realistic psychological support.
🫶 Self-Esteem:
Self-worth can be shaken by health or other challenges, body image changes, or life stress. Standardised self-esteem tests help us explore how you see and value yourself — so we can strengthen confidence where it may have been worn down.
🌧️ Depression & Anxiety:
We use validated measures to screen for and monitor depression and anxiety. These might include and not limited to the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), or similar evidence-based tools. They help us track how your mood is shifting and ensure you get the right support if things feel too heavy.
💞 Marriage & Couple / Romantic Relationship Assessments
Relationships can be deeply affected by health, stress, or big life changes. we offer structured assessments to help couples understand their communication patterns, emotional connection, strengths, and challenges.
These tools explore areas like intimacy, conflict resolution, shared goals and satisfaction — giving you and your partner a chance to see where you are now and how you might grow together.
How It Works
- Only What You Need: Assessments are carefully chosen — not every tool fits every client.
- Open Conversation: We explain results clearly and we discuss them together. You always know what your results mean.
- Practical Next Steps: Measurement is a starting point — we use it to plan real support and change.
Why It Matters
Good psychological assessment is not just about scores on a page. It’s about seeing the whole picture — your emotions, relationships, strengths and challenges — so you feel understood and supported in a way that makes sense for your life.
