Ozan BAHCIVAN, BSc, MSc. Ph.D.

Dr Ozan Bahcivan is the Founding Director and a Clinical and Health Psychologist at OZ Psychological Consultancy (Oz Psikolojik Danışmanlık). With an Australian–Turkish background, he has lived, worked, and studied in Australia, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, and Spain. His international perspective and experience enable him to deliver culturally sensitive, language-aware psychological and psycho-oncological interventions.

Dr Bahcivan has pioneered various scientific initiatives through national congresses, symposiums and training programs, and has contributed to the adaptation and validation of several psycho-oncological assessment tools for Turkish culture, including the Cancer Coping Questionnaire (CCQ), Emotion Thermometer (ET), and the Mini Mental Adjustment to Cancer Scale. He co-authored the “Psycho-Social Palliative Care” chapter in the first original Turkish health psychology textbook.

He currently leads and coordinates national and international projects in cancer care and actively collaborates with fellow professionals to advance psycho-oncology.
